Sunday Funday?

One of our full days there will be a Sunday so we would like to pack alot into the day. Are there things that close early or don't open at all since its Sunday such as museums, parks, restaurants and shopping? Thanks!

The weekends are very popular here so, usually, things are open. But, it depends on when you are coming to SD. Summer, Winter ?? or ??

I was really surprised that most of the museums in Balboa Park closed at 5pm, even in summer. The zoo was open late, as was the Maritime Museum (ships at the Embarcadero). Cabrillo Nat Mon closes at 5pm.

Most websites post closing hours.
