Would love to find a good hairdresser in San Diego -:) person with vision, taste and skills.

... wondering if there was one in San Diego that could give a really good cut.

Hi Erica! What part of San Diego are you looking? Downtown, Point Loma, La Jolla, Hillcrest, etc.

Some areas have better parking than others. I go downtown but I walk because otherwise I have to pay to park somewhere.

San Diego is certainly very large and spread out so knowing where you are or how far you are willing to drive might help.

I will also send you a PM

What's with the PM's ? Are your hairdressers in the witness protection program? LOL

Distance doesn't matter. I am more than willing to take a ride.

Thank you so very much -:)

I like JOL salon in Liberty Station and always book there when I'm in town (I live in the mountains where my options are limited). It's a little pricey but worth it because they do lots of continuing education and are up on trends, etc. You can book an appointment online and there is plenty of free parking, so it's quite convenient.

Wouldn't Yelp be a better resource for this?

I am sorry, I've tried Yelp. It was quite an unfortunate experience -:((

Regardless you will get a lot wider perspective than the handful of posters here. More importantly than your exact SD location would be what sort of service are you looking for? Cut? Color? Blow outs? Do you have short hair? Long hair? Naturally curly? Treated?

Sal,

Not to be rude, but it's ALL irrelevant. A good hairdresser with skill, experience and talent, most certainly should be able to cut and blowout any type/lenghth of hair. As for "exact" location and, as I stated above, distance does not matter.

Thanks!
