Baked Bear???

Every night I drive by this place in PB and there is a line of people forever and a day.

What is the scoop on the place???

I would check on yelp, but I would rather have an adult's opinion,

The Baked Bear? The evil, create your own ice cream cookie sandwich place?

Let's face it, mint chocolate chip ice cream between two Ghirardelli brownies just ought to be illegal.... it is certainly a sin, but I'll repent tomorrow, today it is just yummy.

It is basically the "new" ColdStone, (and similar places) which has hit its peak and on the down side.

Just a twist on what is hip.

To me, I rather just head to a grocery store and my favorite Ice Cream treat with little wait...

Fair assessment DB. I remember the whole Coldstone concept being fresh and new when I lived in La Jolla (UTC area) in the late 90's.

We just spent a week in San Diego and my kids found this place. They would ride their bikes up there from the Catamaran to get one. They said they were awesome.

It sounds like fun!

I never liked Coldstone at all! To me the ice cream had no taste!

Lordy, I figured I was the only person who thought this! Once the ice cream got "that" cold, I couldn't taste a thing.

We just lost the #1 position to Mexico, but I am doing my part by visiting the Baked Bear twice a day, having cronuts flown in from NYC and eat my double cheeseburger with a glazed donut for a bun, just like the Luther Burger at Crave Real Burgers in CO.

LOL Scott! How are you going to keep your girlish figure for the beach in Hawaii! ; ) I was just in NYC and did not seek out those cronuts.
