Hotel Circle

Need a room for 1 or 2 nights in mid June. Thinking of this area. Any recommendations?

Tons of possibilities if you want inexpensive and not scenic. Will you have a car as not all are convenient without one.

Coming from AZ I assume you have a car. Not scenic but central and depending on what you want to do you can get around easily and quickly. No quality restaurants, etc.

Tons of options.

This would not be my choice. There is nothing wrong with the hotels, but it is in an area of multiple hotels and that is all. School Districts and small businesses put their people up here for meetings and conferences.

I am speaking as one who has both gone the meeting route and the independent one. I prefer to be away from Hotel Circle and more into San Diego.

I think you might be better off in a hotel in Old Town...more restaurant options and not as busy.

Yes, the Crowne Plaza Mission Valley on Hotel Circle north. I have stayed there many times.

First off, what is your budget? In dollars not adjectives. What are your plans? It's hard to help you when you refuse to give information.

Yes, budget numbers would help.

Hotel Circle wouldn't be my first pick unless I had a conference at Town & Country.

as you can tell from above posts...it is not a scenic area. however, the motels/hotels are some of the least expensive in san diego. if i was only going there for a night or two and knew i basically just needed a place to sleep, i'd consider it. very convenient for getting to various sites. also, if it is a bad "june gloom" season, staying on the beach can be somewhat disappointing as it could be foggy until noon or so. to save money...stay there. for scenic beauty or nice areas to walk around...don't stay there.
