Decent eats nearby?

Hello, having read all the mixed reviews, I am now nervous about staying near Times Square, at the Hotel Edison. Assuming that I wake up not too grumpy from all the noise, can any one recommend decent/reasonable places to have breakfast near by?

Its going to be my first visit to New York and I am just so excited!

Cafe Edison/Edison Cafe is at the hotel if you want a diner type atmosphere. Lots of actors eat there between shows.

The Brooklyn Diner now has an outpost in Times Sq. I have only eaten at the one on 57th Street but it offers very LARGE portions of nicely prepared high-end diner food if you are looking for a more splurge diner. My out of town family likes going there.

Also brunch at Delta Grill for Cajun style food is nearby.

Also for a more casual New Yorker breakfast most delis offer bagels or rolls with egg/butter etc...

Thanks everyone, I like the idea of bumping into a celeb. Better not have my hair curlers in then, when I pop down for my coffee!
