Best breakfast around SoHo/Little Italy?

My girlfriend is visiting NY soon and has found a great sublet around Hester and Mulberry - I want to take her out for a leisurely breakfast where we can linger - any suggestions of places that locals love that won't be overrun with tourists?

Clinton St. Baking Company won't really let you linger but it is very good.

Stanton Social is very good.

Mercer Kitchen is great but there will be tourists.

Balthazar is worth checking out.
