I am looking for a room from 26-28 of August any suggestions? This is going to be my 4th time there this year so im looking for something inexspensive. I have called a couple of places that I have went before and either the rate has went up or there are no rooms availible.

Try the Red Roof Inn. I just stayed there and the location is perfect.

The Beacon is great -- good prices, good neighbourhood and kitchenettes that can cut the price of eating out. I also hear good things about The Inn on 23rd and Larchmont, although I haven't personally stayed at either.

I think you've made you point on the budget. I agree with the Red Roof Inn suggestion. It's definitely the best for the money in all Manhattan.

No disrespect to anyone who has posted here, but I am surprised by the number of people who come to NYC on such a limited budget. I mean, it is one of the most expensive cities in the world, ya know?

blackmistressdiva, New York is not just for the wealthy, you can have a great time here on a budget. And because performing artists come here from all over the world to make their names, there are actually lots of free performances too.
