Bed and Breakfast in New York State

I am looking for a bed and breakfast relatively close to Manhattan (2 hours or less). Something to do (apple picking, hiking, etc) near the bed and breakfast would be nice. Above all, I am looking for something that is clean and affordable and that has a tasty breakfast! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Try this for Apple Picking

And this for a B&B

FYI, this info is from a google search, I have no first hand knowledge of either place.

Good Luck and have fun.

What do YOU consider affordable? Are you thinking for Columbus weekend b/c that will be difficult? Do you have a car or does this have to be someplace where you can go with public transportation?

You should Google "Hudson Valley B&B" or perhaps "Litchfield County CT B&B" I bet you'll find plenty of places! Areas near New Paltz, Modena, High Falls, Mohonk, Rhinebeck....all have lots of apple picking/pumpkin patches. Litchfield County is dreamy....lovely classic New England feel..but probably a bit more $$
