fur coat question

Four of us coming to NYC this Thurs for a girls getaway for 3 nights. I have been reading all of the posts on this forum for months & have taken note of all the good advice, rest reviews, things to do etc. so thank you to all the regulars who respond with your helpful recommendations. Trying to decide between 2 coats one being a sheared beaver stroller & the other a long wool coat. Being from Alabama we don't wear much warm weather clothing & since I seldom get to wear the beaver coat I was just wondering your thoughts due to PETA. Please give me your honest opinion.

Being completely honest, I think fur is in bad taste. But no one's going to throw paint on you or anything like that ;)

Dress warm, PETA should not be your concern. There are protests over scab labor here, but I have NEVER seen a fur wearer be annoyed or confronted.

Were they farm-raised beaver or wild beaver?

Nothing like a wild beaver.

As mentioned, no one is going to throw paint - you may see some others wearing fur, however it really is not that common anymore.
