Very nice hotel. Read the reviews here. Where is the deal and what is the price? You're the second or third person mentioning the Kitano recently and it's normally an under the radar hotel. It's very close to the Hyatt so location is equivalent. Kitano has a lot of rooms with nice views, something the Hyatt lacks.

I loved the the Kitano, I havent stayed at the G Hyatt but the Kitano felt very intimate, for the location the rooms were very quiet, we had a fab view of the Empire State building.

We stayed in December and couldnt get any heat in the room, went down to reception, where the staff were all very curtious, they said the heating in the hotek wasnt switched on yet? and they would send up a heater, thinking as in most hotels it would never arrive, 5 mins later it was in the room.

With that price I'd go with the G Hyatt!

Are you booking flights together as well on Expedia, have you checked getting a quote for flights and hotels together first, then get a price for a flight and then add a hotel while you are booking as I found when you asked for a flight and hotel together they put you on a more expensive flight

We booked through hotels.com and get room in September 198 usd per night. That was a really good deal! Check hotels.com website!
