benji - ask the doorman/bellhop/desk clerk where THEY go for breakfast or just walk out the front door - there should be lots of places nearby!!!!

Depends on what you're doing after b/f etc. I'd head to Le Pain Quotidien on 40th st. b/w 6th & 5th near Bryant Park and then have a walk through Bryant Park.

For something basic - Berger's on the Go - 39th and 5th - small location 4 tables - brekky basics - H&H bagels - quick, easy, reasonable.

Let us know where you ended up.

we just went next door to hotel metro and had a great breakfast there,the rest of the days we just grabbed a bagel and coffee,missing it already,boo hoo
