Window Displays/Stores--how late on the weekends?

Hi! Can anyone tell me how long we can "window shop" the displays and/or enter the stores? We will be in NYC this coming weekend. THANKS!

Most major stores will open late, closing somewhere betweein 9 and 11 PM, a bit earlier on Sundays. Macy*s was open 24/7 the week before Christmas last year, and I think again this year.

The window displays are there 24 hours a day. Something like the Saks light show probably stops at some point in the night.

Unlike in a shopping mall, whose stores all open or close at the same time, stores located on New York City streets open and close at whatever time they choose. During the Christmas shopping season, stores tend to have longer hours -- but the hours kept by Macy's will probably not be the same hours kept by Bergdorf Goodman. To know what holiday hours any store will keep, you should look at that particular store's website.
