Times Square Hotel

Going late Februrary with wife for a couple of Broadway shows and staying 3 nights. Thinking about the Casablanaca based on Trip Advisor's reviews. What do people think? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

We really enjoyed staying at the new Intercontinental Hotel on 8th Ave & 44th. Easy walk to the theaters.

There are many hotels in the area in all price ranges.

The one time we stayed in the Times Square area back in 2007, we stayed at The Time, and we really liked it. Some friends of ours stay at the Belvedere every time they go to NY, and they love it also. :O)

The Casablanca is a very well liked hotel ln TA but rooms are relatively small and decor is getting a bit tired imo. If service and freebies (breakfast, wine & cheese) are important to you, it's a good choice. If you're more interested in the quality of the room, with so many new hotels in/near the theaters I think the options are endless. The new Intercontinental is one good idea as is the Cassa and the Standard. Many of the big chains like the Marriott Marquis, the Doubletree Guest Suites, the W Times Square and the Westin are also very well priced in late Feb. and those offer views and larger rooms with more modern decor and bigger bathrooms.
