Walk down Watts to the water (the Hudson) go south (left )and walk to the World Financial Center- they have several options (I like financier patiserie) and the most fantastic views-

This is sort of a NYC/ Soho icon, and is a short walk from your hotel-

We enjoyed the free hotel breakfast at the Hampton Inn SoHo. The hotel was great for what we needed, it is close to subway stations and the W. Village. Our room was adequate for the 3 of us and because we were on a high floor our room was quiet and the view from the room of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building was an added treat.
