We have used Dial7 more than once and very happy. Will use again - there is always a next time for NYC :-)

Where exactly are you going? Have you ruled out taking the train from the airport to your hotel? It's fast, easy and cheap.

Avoid Super Shuttle.

What hotel are you going to? Nassau Street runs a decent length.

Have you considered simply taking the JFK AirTrain from inside your terminal right to Howard Beach where you can get the A train to Fulton Street (at Nassau Street)? Please let us know where on Nassau Street so we can give you a better idea of distance.

The taxi queue is long, but it moves fast. They don't mess around. You'll be to the front of the line and in a cab in a few minutes. Plus the fare is a flat rate $45, plus tip. And after a long flight, it'll feel good to stand for a few minutes.

Delta is the only terminal where taxi queues are a problem, because the narrow roadway underneath the terminal is easily blocked by black cars trolling for passengers.... Otherwise, it moves fast. See how you feel when you land - if you're dead, jump in a cab. If you're wired - take the train.

If you land at 5:30 on a Friday you wont be coming into the city at peak time - by the time you get through immigration, your luggage and to the cab line, you'll miss rush hour and will be coming in before most people head into the city for Friday night.
