Can anyone please suggest a nice (clean) place that does Dim Sum at lunch time?

I really like Jing Fong -- very clean (A rating) and a huge space to watch the carts roll by. It holds about 750 people. Go early for the best and hottest selection (that is 11 am is much better than 1 pm.) Opens at 10.

If you want vegetarian dim sum, try Buddha bodai on Mott street. Ask for the durian pastry.

I've always liked Ping Seafood on Mott Street for dimsum, as it's less hectic than the large banquet-sized establishments.

If you'd prefer to have dimsum outside of Chinatown (no reason to do so, but it's an option), Chinatown Brasserie is a great choice, as NYWhiz mentioned. Shun Lee on West 65th is another nice place. Just keep in mind that you will likely pay more than you would in Chinatown.

I vote for Jing Fong. It is massive and that adds to the fun. Also if you are from out of town a trip to Chinatown is worth it.
