Where to eat on the UWS after a long day of baseball?

We are staying close to Lincoln Center and would like a very casual, neighborhood place to have dinner after a baseball game. I'm sure everyone will be tired and not wanting to get dressed for dinner. We would also consider take-out. We like Carmine's and Henry's both, but would like to try something new. We are already planning on having Japanese and Cuban while in town. All suggestions appreciated!!!

If you don't mind a short cab ride uptown, I'd head to Kefi - excellent Greek food by one of the city's best chefs, but in a casual spot where there's no need to get dressed up.

Sounds great! Columbus between what streets? Would much rather head uptown then downtown.

First of all, I would guess that you'll be eating something at the game. Most baseball games are 3 hours. The food is expensive, but you have a range of choices, from hot dogs to gourmet items.

Which game is it? Day or evening? If it's an evening game, you won't get out until about 10 pm (unless you decide to eave early.)

If you're going to Citifield, you can go to Flusing and explore Chinatown, or take the # 7 to Long Island City and eat there.

If you're going to Yankee Stadium, I guess you'll be taking the B or D train.

How about Big Nick's Pizza nd Burgers, on Broadway and 77th?

Daytime game (1:05) Yankees

4 of us are going to the game and 2 of us are going to matinee. Thus, we are going to meet up after for dinner.

While at the game, for a great lunch head to Field Section 132 to Lobel's for a steak sandwich. One of the best ballpark offerings anywhere. You'll be shocked at the high quality butcher shop they have going on there.

I've actually eaten at most of QB's suggestions. Rosa Mexicano probably the nicest. Uncle Nick's is pretty good. Georgio's I like but a bit too "Dinerish". I would also add Island Burgers & Shakes for some nice and juicy burgers (once you sort through the huge menu that is)
