which airport for Long Island City

I am looking at staying that the country inn and suites in long island city

I was just searching airfairs and it has Laguardia for this flight option

which airport would be the best to fly into to get to LIC? and if Laguaridia is not the best would it be hard to get to

it will be two adults and two teenagers (and probably lots of luggage)

Thanks Haylee

laguardia is 5 miles from LIC, very close. not sure where you are flying in from but very few intl flights come into LGA without a connection. with lots of luggage, a taxi is most convenient to get you anywhere from any airport. JFK would be ok to fly into. Newark is far from LIC.

There's no subway at LGA, so you'd have to take a bus to the subway. It's not hard from either airport, though you'll have to be able to manage stairs with the luggage.

If it's a nonstop flight, LGA is very convenient and a much smaller airport than JFK, but it's more sensible, especially with 4 of you and luggage to take a taxi from there. With all that luggage, that will be a better option anyway. The taxi will cost $20-25.
