Sure you can.

AirTrain Newark / NJ Transit will deposit you at Penn Station in Manhattan. You would walk one block east along 34th Street (or 32nd Street) to the Herald Square 34th Street subway station where you would get an uptown (Ditmars / Astoria bound) N or Q train (assuming a weekday) or an N train (no Q train assuming a weekend) to the 39th Avenue station in Queens. You'll see the hotel.

You could also take Olympia Newark Airport Express bus directly from the terminal to Bryant Park stop (2nd stop in Manhattan) and simply go downstairs to the 7 train. You would take a Main Street Flushing bound 7 train to Queensboro Plaza. At Queensboro Plaza, you can either walk to the hotel or take the N or Q train directly across the platform one stop to 39th Avenue.

It would be helpful to know if you are arriving on a weekday or a weekend.

AirTrain Newark / NJ Transit is $12.50 from Newark Airport to Manhattan.

The bus is $16.00 now.

Do not use the shuttles.

Note that it is also possible to take the NJ Transit #62 bus from Newark Airport to Newark Penn Station for something like $1.50. You can take the PATH train from Newark Penn to 33rd Street (with a cross-platform transfer at Journal Square) for $2.00. It is a not-too-difficult transfer from the PATH train to the Queensbound N / Q trains at the 34th Street / 33rd Street underground complex.

You would have to;

1) Buy a ticket to NEW YORK Penn Station& take the Newark Air Train to NJT (New Jersey Transit) Newark airport stop then,

panynj.gov/airports/ewr-public-transportatio…

2) take NJT to New York Penn Station then,

www.njtransit.com/rg/rg_servlet.srv…

3) exit Penn Station on the 7th ave side. Walk down 32nd St one Block to Manhattan Mall. go down stairs to Catch the(Queens Bound) N Subway line.

http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/submap.htm

4) Take the N train to 39th St Station and exit..

...The Verve is 2 blocks away

tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g48080-d1114169…

on the first link there are other options-Cab (pretty expensive from Newark to Queens)-or bus to NYC (then take subway as instructed)

Good Luck & Have Fun!
