Things to do in the Bronx

Going to see Madonna in sept at Yankee stadium. Have never been to the Bronx, thought it would be nice to explore the day of the concert. Any suggestions of things to see.?

The Bronx zoo is the best I've ever been to & I'm a fan of a good zoo, ha.

If that's not your scene I'm sure you'll get plenty of other suggestions.

Enjoy Madge.

The New York Botanical Gardens adjoins the Bronx Zoo and is gorgeous.

At what is now Bronx Community College (but which was built as NYU) you have the original hall of fame: the Hall of Fame for Great Americans:

You know how in the Wizard of Oz they sing "you can be a bust in the Hall of Fame"? This is what they meant.

I also vote for the Botanical Garden and Wave Hill.

I'd go to Wave Hill or the Bronx Zoo, then Arthur Ave, for food, then Yankee Stadium.
