Everybody In It's Spitting!

So here I am fine tuning our itinerary for our trip on MONDAY!! OMG! Thought I'd check the weather with weather.com and it's not great! Scattered thunder storms forecast for Wednesday so was thinking about keeping dry in the National History Museum!

I'd appreciate any other indoor & therefore dry ideas for us to do!

Many thanks in advance.

It's not going to rain all day..scattered means exactly that.

Bring a hat and don't let a few rain drop stop you. Duck into a bar or a store if it gets heavy..and when it slows up, get back out there!

Thanks Dee! That's the general plan but thought we'd use a 'dodgy weather day' to do indoor type things. Rather than spending glorious days wishing we were outside!

Is the Grand Central Tour worth doing?! Sounds good!

Huh? The current forecast for next Wednesday is partly cloudy with 20% chance of rain. Of course conditions can change, but why worry now? In any case, we are going to the Fricke. It is a gem among museums, and for more informatio see:

Shot from the hip a bit with the weather! Should've known to wait & check closer to the day, being English with our changeable but mainly rubbish weather!

Indoor ideas are always welcome though! Thanks.

I wondered how long it would take!!

Spitting can refer to drizzle or light rain over here in England!!

The sort of rain that soaks you through!

I grew up in Seattle, with oh-so-typical light rain/drizzle, and we would also say it was 'spitting' outside. But never "everybody in, it's spitting" - in that case it'd have to be pouring. It was more like "oh, it's fine, just spitting a little". :)
