Lunch in Soho?

Can anyone recommend a good place to get lunch (not brunch) on a Saturday in Soho? We love gourmet with a focus on presentation but all suggestions welcome. Any ideas for outdoor seating as well?

Try Jane, on W. Houston near Thompson (actually considered the village, across Houston is the start of Soho). They also have outdoor seating.

Excellent food & reasonable prices.

here are some recs. you can look them up on menupages.com or on www.newyork.citysearch.com for their addresses and menus.

Dos Caminos SoHo

Great homemade gaucamole, outdoor seating, a huge range of tequilas, delicious taco dishes.

Kelley and Ping

Order at the counter and take to your seat. Yummy noodle dishes, dumplings and pancakes. Airy, casual setting.

The famous French bistro with amazing desserts, especially their tarts. Great burger and fries (although pricey!), excellent steak and fish dishes, great sandwiches. A trendy, people-watching scene to while away the afternoon.

Cafe Havana

A tiny, trendy, yet casual and delicious little Cuban spot that serves tacos, burgers, egg dishes, tortas and burritos. This spot always seems to be full of beautiful people! You can get food to go next door.

Eclectic Brazil

Cute little intimate cafe that has a brunch on Saturday, with rench toast with mango and strawberry salsa and poached or scrambled eggs with chorizo. Salads, sandwiches (like avocado, queso fresoc, merguez, etc) and soups.

Cafe Colonial

Brazilia/South American

Breakfast specials like egg sandwiches; omelettes with black beans, salsa and sour cream. Simple yet good food like rice adn meat dishes, soups and salads, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, all with a brazilian/mexican twist. Outdoor/sidewalk seating.

New American/French

I've only been for dinner and it was delicious! But they do have breakfast with all sorts of eggs; burgers; salads and sandwiches. The cocktails here are also great!

Try Bouley in Tribeca. I can't think of any place in Soho that serves a formal sort of lunch on Sat.

For outdoor dining, Barolo has one of the largest gardens in Soho. (Italian food). Kittichai in 60 Thompson hotel has outdoor space but serves brunch on weekends.
