Good Tour for someone who can't walk vey well.

Grandpa and Grandmother are going to bring their 11 yr old GD for a week in NY. Grandpa doesn't walk well but can walk some. we were wondering which tour would be the best. I was wondering about the 48 hr. Grey Line loop? Any suggestions would be helpful.

If the weather will be warm (it gets pretty cold up on those buses in the winter, even when covered), and if Grandpa can walk up a narrow flight of stairs to the top level of the bus, the Grey Line tours are a good way to get acquainted with the city. They can revisit areas of particular interest on their own later.

They can get around the rest of the week by public bus and subway

The Circle Line boat tour around the island of Manhattan is also a great way to get a different perspective on the city. Much nicer if the weather's warm enough to sit outside, so if they're not coming for a few months I'd recommend it.
