Whats an API?

If you are going to the US just as a tourist for 90 days or less you only apply for the ESTA.

Yes you need to supply API details to your airline as well as getting your ESTA.

API = Advance Passenger Information.

Sorry about the abbreviation & thanks, i was unsure n hadn't been told by the travel agent, luckily someone mentioned it to me, slight panic ensued as I wasn't at home & fly on Sat & American Airlines don't make it the easiest thing to find!
