city pass question child vs adult at attractions...

We are headed to NYC next week and I am considering purchasing the city pass. I know many do not recommend it. However, when I look at the city pass site it considers my 2 older teens (ages 14 and 16) as children. This could possibly save us quite a bit just based on that alone. How does this work at an attraction that considers the older teens as 'adults' ? Any thoughts on this issue?

I didn't know there was a difference in what ages the sites and what ages city pass considers to be an adult-

I would ask the people at city pass - how this came to be.

If they just give you the city pass ticket & the site doesn't question the age but if they give your 16 yo a child ticket it maybe a problem at sites that don't consider a 16yo a child.

I have never heard anyone complain- so I would ask them how it works to be on the safe side.

Hello,

If your child is within the CityPASS youth age range (for New York, ages 6-17) and has a youth CityPASS, the attractions will accept their youth CityPASS ticket even if your child is outside the standard youth/child age range for that attraction. Hope that helps and let me know if you have further questions. Thanks.
