Hi will be in NYC Sept 5th for 3 nights

Looking for advise on this type please.

Steak house $40 per head

Wings (just best place)

Italian $40 per head

Not sure if price is to low near our accommodation

Staying candlewood suites

Steakhouse is, almost by definition, a pricey restaurant. Steak dinners are generally above $40 per head .

The steaks at Frankie & Johnnie's are over $40. They have a few less expensive items such as chicken or pork chops. Sides are extra.

Capital Grill (Time Life Building) has a pre-theater prix fixe menu between 4-7pm for $39 pp (plus tip). The menu isn't published, but they offer a couple of steak options. You can call them to confirm if that interests you.

There are plenty of restaurants where you can get a nice steak dinner for $40, but they aren't "steakhouses"

For Italian, you may want to specify if there is a particular type of Italian that interests you. Classic New York Italian-American? Northern Italian? Southern Italian? (etc.) Are there particular types of dishes that you want to try, or are your favorites?

Le Relais de Venise is in your price range. Read about the concept because it's unique, but I've had excellent steak there:
