help us pick between 2 hotels

Arriving in 3 days, but still having trouble deciding between 2 hotels booked. The Milford is less expensive (by $300) than The Park Central. Both get mixed reviews. At PC, we have the possiblity of upgrading to 2 queens for additional $17 per night, but no guarantee until check-in. Otherwise 2 doubles booked at both hotels. Anyone have any opinions that might help us finialize our plans?

I dont like either of them. How many are you and what price per night do you have booked? Dates?

8/15-8/20 (5 NIGHTS). Trying to stay under $1500 all in. Milford currently $998 - PC $1330 ($1415 if queen) Thinking we may just try Pricelining 2 rooms.

There are a number if good options on Hotwire. There's a midtown Central 4* for$169 that looks like the Sheraton.

NYWhiz is the expert. And that is a FANTASTIC deal at the Sheraton. I would be inclined to snatch it up in a heartbeat, myself.

The $169 hotel was for a room for 2. Different options for a room for 3.

If you need three people, THROW PRICELINE OUT THE WINDOW. For NYC, you will get a room with 1 double, queen, or if you're really lucky, king bed. Two doubles is basically impossible.

Regarding hotwire, 3 adults in the room will guarantee you get two beds.

Midtown East 4 Star Hotel - $197 per night - $1,223.24 total with taxes - The Roosevelt Hotel (stayed at recently and it was better than I expected, but not great, either...)

I would personally go for the mystery Midtown Central 4 Star Hotel - $201 per night - $1,253.87 total with taxes. I'm not sure what it is but it has free internet, good TA 4.0 out of 5.0 rating, and scores well from previous guests.

If you do this, let us know what property you get. I'm curious!

3.5* in MSG/Hell's Kitchen area for $265/night plus tax looks like the Distrikt. Great hotel. Only downside is their rooms with 2 beds will only be doubles.

4.5* Times Square for $341/night plus tax looks like Intercontinal Times Square-also 2 double beds.

If you want 2 queen beds (like your kings) the Courtyard Midtown East averages to $319/night fully cancelable on cheaptickets.com for a total of $1109.62

Hampton Inn Times Square North is $332 plus tax on hotels.com for 2 queen beds. $1257.85
