Football Game & Taxi Fare

Our husbands will be going to the Football Game at the MetLife Stadium on Sun. Oct. 20th. We are staying very close to the Port Authority so would it be best for them to take the bus to the stadium? Or is there a better way to get there?

Also, can you give me an estimate of how much a taxi will cost from LaGuardia Airport to the Times Square area? I know it is a metered ride and the traffic will dictate the final cost, but if you can give me an idea of the cost, I'd appreciate it.

Taxi from LaGuardia would be roughly $40. There is a new Q.70 express bus from the terminals - it connects the airport with the subway. The subway is the fastest and most economical way to get to Times Square.

Bus is the way to get to MetLife Stadium. Taxi's do not really cross state lines except to go to Newark Airport. Getting a taxi to the stadium will be no small accomplishment and would come at no small cost. bus is the way to go.
