Broadway suggestions?

Will be in town next week with hubby. He's not too happy about attending a broadway show. I'd love to see everyone of them! Any ideas that would make him happy? I guess a play would be more to his liking, especially a comedy.

Why not split up for the evening? Why make him go to a show if it's not his thing.

And if you do decide to see a show together, then choose something you specifically want to see. If he's not inclined to enjoy a show, you may as well see something that you are keen on.

I'm with Mez! I never understand why women force their husbands to spend money unnecessarily to do something they don't want to do and then make it worse by seeing something they really didn,t really want to see to try to appease their mate. Send him off to a sports bar or a movie and see the show you'd most like to see. Save the money!!;)

PS if it makes it easier, go to a matinee while he does something else...the Intrepid Air & Space Museum is not far from the theater district. Finding a single ticket is also a lot easier than finding a pair.

If he is into mysteries, there is a new play on Broadway called "A Time To Kill" which is based on a John Grisham book. It didn't get raves but it might be something he's like if he's into Grisham.

I agree with seanbee's question -- how old are you both?

What kinds of music do you each like? There are other things to do besided seeing a musical
