Public Transit from LaGuardia...

I have a question on whats the best way to get from LaGuardia to the Fairfield Inn Chelsea. I was looking at the MTA map and thought taking the M60 bus to the first exit at Astoria Blvd and getting on the N/Q train would be the best bet but I also see everyone talking about taking the bus to to the UWS and taking the 1 train. Any suggestions? Is one station easier to find than the other?

Thanks

There is also a bus that goes to Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, right to the subway station there. From there you can take the E-Train to 23rd and 8th Avenue in Chelsea

The only way is to take a bus to the subway as mentioned as there are no stations near the airport. The 74th Street, Roosevelt Avenue, station in Jackson Heights for the E train is probably the most convenient option using the Q33 bus. This bus runs frequently. Note that the E train is underground while the #7 train at this station is elevated.

The Q33 bus no longer exists.

There is a new Q70 Limited. The new Q70 is much much faster, significantly less crowded and more frequent. No additional cost. The Q70 connects the terminals at LaGuardia with the Jackson Heights subway with NO intermediate stops.

The Q33 was a local bus - it used to get crowded and it wasn't fast.

The new Q70 is the *only* way to go to / from LaGuardia Airport in my opinion. I've used the bus 20+ times - even on frequent business trips. It is faster and more reliable than sitting in traffic in a taxi, waiting in the taxi queue, or holding on for dear life when your taxi driver is crazy (as most seem to be).

MoreFFmiles is correct about the Q70 Limited, one stop to the E,F,M,R,7 trains at broadway and Roosevelt avenue. goes on the highway, takes no more than ten minutes or so. But - it only stops at terminal B so if you are on delta, westjet, us airways, you must catch the shuttle bus to terminal b. runs every ten minutes or so during the day, has limited 24 hour service, and amazingly is always empty.

taking the m60 into manhattan is a mistake, because it goes crosstown on 125th street, horrible traffic. taking the train from Astoria is better if you choose this bus.
