Our family of four ( 2 daughters aged 10 and 7) are arriving end of March for one week. We are staying at HGI- Central Park (Thanks for TA- NY Whiz about booking special). Here is our rough iternary. We got the New York City Pass off Costco. ca and will be getting the Metrocard for one week. Any thoughts or suggestions? Additions or substractions? Any advice? Too much? Next step is figuring out the subway system for each day and arranging some meals/restaurants.
Thursday - arrive 3 PM
Dinner, Times Square
Metropolitan Museum Art - AM
Top of the Rock - PM
MOMA - AM
Circle Line Cruise - 4 PM
American Museum of Natural History
Central Park (? ice skating - girls are figure skaters)
Empire State Building AM
Public Library, Grand Central
If not too tired, might try to head back in evening to Empire State for night views.
Statue Liberty (booked 9AM)
911 Memorial (will likely book for 2 or 3PM)
2 PM - Wicked (Booked)
Fly Home early 6 AM
