New York Mets Tickets

I'm off to New York in May and am from the UK, i'm thinking of visiting the Citi Field to watch the New York Mets play. I was wondering if when I buy a ticket if there's an option to collect the ticket on the day, as I dont want the ticket to arrive back at my home in the UK a few days before the game when i'm already in NY?

Yes there's normally an option called "will-call" for this purpose. But if you are purchasing using stubhub than you'll be able to download and print them

Which game(s) are you considering? You might want to wait and buy last-minute from StubHub. If a game doesn't sell out, by the morning of game day many of the tickets should be selling for below face value, and then you can buy with instant download and print from your hotel. Also, that way you can makes sure the weather is good that day and that you haven't wasted your money on a rainout.

Also, all but the busiest games will have tickets available at the gate, Especially for weekday games. You can save money on the processing fees by just buying from the box office at the game. It's not a strategy I would employ for a big weekend game, and I did once get there and find only expensive seats because of the Passover Holiday (goyim mistake). But it usually works.
