Advice on Tiffany's please lovely people!!

Which Tiffany's am I best going too?

Thanks for your help and advice so far lovely people, our itinerary is taking shape for first time trip in April, with my husband for our 15th Wedding Anniversary.

On our second full day our actual anniversary we want to walk to take in the energy and vibe of the city. Our google map takes us from Madison Square Park down to Washington Square Park, via the Strand book store, then passed Little Singer and Woolworths building to Staten Island Ferry.

I want a little something from Tiffany's to mark my anniversary. Should I go to Tiffany's at 97 Greene Street or is there a big difference to the other stores? My other option is to go to another store that evening before dinner at Gramercy Tavern, or the next morning before we leave The Roger for JFK at midday.

Any advice appreciated on when best option is to fit it in? Many thanks in advance.

The Fifth Ave location is the flagship, great store. Plus it's nearby to some other stores you might like to have a browse in.

Agree that 5th Ave is flagship and that is the one to go to all else being equal. But if there's another store that's closer or more convenient I don't see why that wouldn't do just as well.

The 5th Avenue is the iconic NYC location that visitors should see - you can get Tiffany items in many venues - but there is and always be 'just one' Tiffany's.

If you know exactly what you want to buy, you can make sure in advance that it's in stock at a smaller store (there's one on Wall Street in addition to the SoHo store) and pick it up on your way. But if you want to browse and decide, definitely go to the flagship store on Fifth Avenue at 57th Street. :)

The 5th Ave one is where they filmed Breakfast at Tiffany. If you are looking at the store from 5th Ave the window to the right of the door is the one to get your photos taken in front of with the Empire state building in the back. It's the same angle as in the movie!
