Family of 6 accommodations

Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels that will accommodate a family of 6 without having to split up...Hoping to stay in upper east side or upper west side or midtown. Willing to stay where they can guarantee adjoining rooms. The more suggestions the merrier. :) We will be coming late May-ish/early June-ish.

And your budget please? Keep in mind that there is a room tax of 15%. Exact dates are also necessary as rates can fluctuate drastically on a daily basis.

Up to $500 a night is max including tax. Less is better. :) We don't have exact dates yet because we can't find accommodations to fit our family of 6. We are somewhat flexible. We were just looking for names of hotels that actually will take 6 and not break the bank. :)

Might be over your budget - not sure if they have their prices online or if you have to contact the hotel directly for the prices for this particular room type.

It's a 2 bedroom apartment style room at the Beacon. Sleeps 6.

"A Two Bedroom Suite features a master bedroom with one king bed, and a second bedroom with two double beds. Two luxurious marble bathrooms, a separate living room with a pull-out sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchenette. Maximum occupancy is six people."

At least it is in an area you asked about. :)

You're going to have a hard time at that time of year for $500/night for 6 people. On the upper east side, the Marmara is an apartment hotel with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites. Affinia Gardens has 1 and 2 bedroom suites.; If you can squeeze into a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and sofabed, your budget will work there (on Expedia on a prepaid rate). But honestly you would be better with 2 bathrooms imo. I don't think there are any other hotels besides the Beacon on the UWS that will allow 6 in one space. There are many more suite hotel options in midtown. All of the

hotels have 1 bedroom suites with 2 queen beds and sofabed. The Kimberly, San Carlos, Best Western Hospitality also have 1 bedroom suites with 2 beds and sofabed (and a few have 2 bedrooms but I don't think they'll fit the budget.)

are budget suite hotels in midtown.

Your exact dates will matter tremendously as prices fluctuate.

Looking at June 1-7, and assuming your kids are all young, you could stay at the Skyline Hotel in one of their family suites for $470 + tax. That has two queen beds plus sofa bed and the bedroom is separate from the living room (with a door). Also has a mini fridge. That rate is on expedia with free cancellation.

Another choice (and maybe a better one) would be Residence Inn Manhattan Midtown East. 1 br suite with two queen beds, sofa bed in separate living room, and full kitchen. Incl cont breakfast for $478 + tax. Also on Expedia. That's a prepaid rate, with no cancellation
