JFK to Woodbury Outlet Mall

Hey guys,

Travelling in a couple of weeks to NYC but upon arrival at the airport are heading straight to Woodbury Outlet Mall to meet up with fellow shoppers. Any ideas on cost via cab to get there and how long the journey will be ?

Thanks

Provided you could find a taxi that would agree to take you there, the price would be exorbitant. It's 60 miles and the taxi would have to do the return trip without a passenger. How long it would take will depend on traffic. Probably at least 1h 15m to get there, maybe longer.

There are buses from Manhattan, but you'd have to get there first, and your luggage could be an issue. Your timing may not be right. More info here: premiumoutlets.com/outlets/directions.asp…

Renting a car and driving yourself would probably be your best choice. Then you'd also have a place to store your luggage.

Trying to do this on arrival day may be very impractical.

Thanks Christnp - Luggage will not be an issue as we are meeting friends there who have rented an SUV. Its just a matter of getting to Woodbury.
