Broadway Show

Hi everyone,

Heading to see mamma Mia on Friday night, just wondering if its appropriate to wear a dress and sandals(with a heel but not overly high)?

Also looking for somewhere to eat nearby before it starts? Not too fancy.

Thanks for any advise.

For a restaurant suggestion, you'll get better assistance if you offer the specific location of the theatre

I think it's the broadhurst theatre on 44th street.

You'll see people wearing just about anything at the theater.

What type of food do you like and how much do you want to spend?

I like www.menupages.com to search restaurants by cuisine, price, location.

You can wear anything. Really.

There are many restaurants withing walking distance of the theater which is indeed the Broadhurst at 44th between 7th and 8th. A few I can recommend are:

Pongrisi Thai yelp.com/biz/pongsri-thai-restaurant-new-yor…

St. Andrews tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60763-d42…

Sapporo for Ramen (cash only) http://www.yelp.com/biz/sapporo-new-york

Talouche Mexican (high end) http://www.yelp.com/biz/toloache-new-york-

The thing about eating in the TS area is that you want to avoid one of the big chains

Thanks for your replies. I couldn't find this thread on my phone it was so strange.

I like pretty much any food except seafood. Looking to spend less than $70 but probably only looking for one course.

I end up a bit overwhelmed by options on menu pages!

You can easily hit that price for all places on my list. Talouche is expensive but not that expensive
