New York Airports

I am planning on coming to New York in September.

I will be flying from Ireland and I have the option of JFK or Newark Airports. (prices are pretty much the same)

I will be staying near Bryant Park and I am unsure which airport would be best to fly to/ from.

Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Of you prefer a cab, JFK. If you prefer public transit, they both have good connections by rail to Manhattan, but JFK is slightly cheaper.

Neither is more convenient than the other. JFK might be cheaper to travel to

Pick the one that is cheaper for you. Both are very well connected to the city.

I would use JFK as it is in NY rather than NJ which will make transportation easier.

Once you arrive to JFK you can take the NYC Airporter bus which is cheap and convenient. But it is only a good choice for 1 or 2 people, if there's more take a cab. It would be around 50 usd.

The bus can take you to Grand Central Station which is close to Bryant Park
