Gramercy Park resturants for engagement party 50 people

Looking for a restaurant for a 50-60 person engagement party. Private room, something fairly casual with a room with a bartender, passed hors and maybe a buffet or food stations or a sit down Some older folks some kids etc. Not too trendy but not too stodgy. Saturday afternoon. Any suggestions?

Budget? The ne plus ultra would be the roof of the Gramercy Park hotel if you have the budget for it. Otherwise look at Lady Mendl's Tea Salon on Irving Place, a lovely townhouse and you can book the entire place.

It's just barely west of Gramercy Park, in Flatiron, but Craft has a private room that might be a good fit for what you seek:
