New York

We are going to N.Y. for 5 nights in October. We are looking at Affinia Manhattan and ROW. Are there any comments on these two places for us to compare? Our wish list is fabulous views with good sized room and possibly the ability for tea/coffee making.

Most hotel rooms have the amenities to make coffee/tea.

The Affina Manhattan is regularly recco'd on this Forum.

ROW? never heard of this venue.

Views and room size - check hotel's website for this information also for other amenities available.

Thanks Poppa. The ROW was previously the Milford Plaza.

I'm also visiting New York in October and have narrowed down my hotel option to 3: Sheraton Times Square, The Michelangelo and New York Palace.

Any suggestions/preferences?

You'll get more help if you re-post in the NY City forum; this is the general forum for all of NY State.

I visited a friend staying at the ROW NYC recently. The rooms are quite newly renovated, but small.

Neither the Affinia Manhattan or the Row will guarantee views. There are lots of other hotels that will. Look at the new Residence Inn Central Park South.
