Outdoor seating for lunch in the Greenwich/Soho area???

Going back to NYC at the end of the month.....girls weekend....can't wait! Can anyone recommend a few good restaurants/bars around the Greenwich and/or Soho area to sit outside and have lunch/drinks in the afternoon?

Greenwich is a town in Connecticut.

SOHO and Greenwich Village have many restaurants that have outdoor seating - best bet is to just stroll/wander around the neighborhood to see if any strike your fancy.

Or go to www.menupages.com to locate a place on their site....

As suggested, menu pages is very helpful. Play around with their neighborhoods and filter it by outdoor dining for more options.

The only one I know in Soho off the top of my head is Bistro Les Amis but they have sidewalk scaffolding overhead right now. Aquagrill on Spring Street has outdoor dining, but it's facing the busy 6th Ave. The Village has more options. Extra Virgin and Saint Ambroeus are neighbors on West 4th Street and have sidewalk tables. There's also the option of restaurants with back gardens or patios. AOC on Bleecker Street has one, so does Home on Cornelia Street. You don't get the people watching but back gardens sure are charming.

The Cleveland in Nolita (sort of between Soho and Greenwich village) has a nice back patio and good food. Jack's Wife Frida across the street also is supposedly very good (but busy).

If you want to spend too much money but probably see some B-list celebs, try Cipriana on W Broadway.

The Biergarten in the Standard Hotel, Morandi on Waverly Pl, and The Rosemary, while not totally outdoor seating, feels like it.
