Jenny, this is my list:

Disused subway station - a few weeks back, someone posted a link to hidden gems in NYC.

The Cloisters

Smorgasburg - although I'm not sure whether this is a "fair weather" event i.e. not in the winter months

Tenement Museum

Williamsburg Bridge - this is a new one from this post. I was going to walk the Manhattan Bridge so will add this to the itinerary

Brooklyn Brewery - our local supermarket has recently started stocking their beer so it would be fun to visit

Washington Mews - new one from this post - looks so lovely and reminiscent of the mews of London

Street food carts - Wafels & Dinges and Halal Guys

I keep thinking I need to stop reading and researching because everytime I read this forum I gain more to add to my list. My husband calls it my addiction! i guess there could be worse addictions :0

All good except #2 - go all the way to Flushing for authentic Chinese when Chinatown is right in Manhattan? That would be a waste of time.

If you combined a trip to Flushing with a visit to the Queens Museum that has the model of NYC with every building as of the last update, it could be worth it. There are a number of different regional styles of Chinese cooking and all can be found in Flushing, along with Korean and other Asian traditions.
