im visiting New York for the first time.

Is it possible to visit Times Square, The Rockefeller Center and Saint Patricks Church in one Day ?

Those venues might take a couple of hours total depending on how long you want to spend at each.

St. Patrick's is undergoing restoration with scaffolding both inside and out. The work is expected to go to the end of 2015. This may reduce the time you might wish to spend here. Rockefeller Center is just across Fifth Avenue from the cathedral. There are a number of art works scattered about this complex.

I'd also include Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park and the Public Library. They are all close by.

GCT and the Library have tours if that interests you.
