Best areas to stay in city

What would be the best areas to stay in the city?

more so looking to be in downtown area. Perhaps walking distances to Liberty Bell, rocky statues, and stadiums such as take in baseball game with the Phillies for june. what is most recommended?

Center City (what we call downtown) is only two square miles and any neighborhood within it would meet your needs. Look at the "where to stay" item under the FAQ's for a description of the Center City neighborhoods.

I'm not thinking that you'd actually walk from Center City to the baseball stadium.

No, but its an easy subway ride from almost anywhere in Center City to the stadium complex. Makes a lot more sense than staying outside the city and coming in for everything.
