Sheraton Downtown Parking

Does anyone know how much self parking is at the Sheraton Downtown? Know about the garage opposite but wondered how the hotel itself compared.

Can't find an e-mail address for them, phoning might be my last option but we live in Scotland.

Thanks

from Frommers, it looks like self parking is $25 and valet is $32. There is probably a hefty parking tax added on to that. frommers.com/destinations/…H29091.html

Anyone visiting Philadelphia who does not need to visit any of the surrounding areas does not need or want a car. It is a liability. See our FAQ:Where to Park, located on the right top corner of this page.

We will be on a Roadtrip We want to keep car to visit Valley Forge our last day for a good hike as our flight isn't until 10pm. (oh & some last minute retail therapy at King of Prussia LOL!)

Have checked out the parking at 16th & contacted them. Only $18 per day so going with that. Won't need to use car whilst in town.

An alternative might be to make your trip to Valley Forge and King of Prussia early in your Philadelphia stay, turn in your car early, and take the train from Suburban Station to the Airport. (If you really want to shop for bargains, skip Valley Forge and use the time to drive to the factory outlet mall in Reading.)

I agree with bargainhunter regarding the timing of your Valley Forge trip and getting to the airport.. I think you will enjoy King of Prussia Mall more than the Reading outlets. Reading is not a nice place, and you can get better deals at a department store sale than you can at an outlet.

We will be arriving in Philly late on a Sunday, we are travelling from Alexandria & visiting Gettysburg enroute. Had thought of doing Valley Forge on way in but this is the only time in our trip we can fit Gettysburg in. We also don't rate outlets so no intention of visiting any.

We wanted to be flexible as to when we arrive in Philly, we may decide only 2 nights not 3 if we come across anywhere on our travels that we'd like to spend time at .

We also like to have a long walk before our flight which isn't until quite late.
