Rent a car or taxi?

I won a trip to see a hockey game at Citizen's Bank Park and I'm staying 3 days. I'm not sure what hotel I will be staying at yet but I was wondering if I should rent a car or just take a taxi?

It would help to know where you'll be staying. Generally, unless you plan take day trips out of downtown Philly you will not need or want a car. There's lots to see and do in Center CIty (what we call downtown) and the city is very walkable. Plus we have good public transportation.

If you are staying downtown/Center City, don't bother with taking a taxi or renting a car to go to the stadium areas. Parking costs are outrageous and you can easily take the Broad Street Line subway to the stadiums.
