Suburbanites in town for the weekend on the 28th/29th/30th. In town for the DWB concert across the river. We are staying at Penns Landing and have bene there a couple times. Looking for recommendations for good places for the 40+ crowd (young at heart) in the Olde City area or a bit beyond.
Would like recommendatrions for the following:
1, Nice place to eat dinner around 8pm Friday night. We have been to Bistro Romano a couple times, down near South street, and would like to try something similar (doesnt have to be Italian or in that immediate area).
2. A friendly bar, not too young to hang out later after our Friday night dinner. Perferably with a band or good dj and dance floor.
3. Something querky to do after a very early lunch at Reading Market (to try and beat the crowds). I heard about a really weird museum. I recall some goofy tour Anthony Bordain took around the historic district omn the layover. Anyone ever take it.
4. A good late night place for Saturday night after the concert when we come back to the Philly side.
What is the Piazza at Schmidts like?
Thanks for reading my novel,
