Running near Marriott Downtown

I'll be in town for a convention at the Marriott Downtown and was planning some morning runs in that area. Would there be any safety concerns there? I was planning on running to Independence Park area.

My only concern would be the vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

I think you would find it better to go in the other direction, Benjamin Franklin Parkway out to the path by the river. www.schuylkillbanks.org/activities/running

Also depends on definition of morning.. But I agree that the parkway.Schuykill river trail is your best bet, its often busy with joggers and runners.
