NY & Boston again or Pennsylvania, NJ & Washington??

My usband & I will be in USA for 8 nights in mid November.

Like to experince new places and think of Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Washington this time, but do not want to say 'Oh, New york-Boston would be a much more better option :-( ' .

Could you please advise shortly what is there to see for a short period & if it is worth?? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated...

PA - Philadelphia, Lancaster, Hershey & Gettysburg, all on the South East side of the state and make it easy to visit. http://visitpa.com/index.aspx

Baltimore - Inner Harbor http://baltimore.org/

Washington DC - great choice http://washington.org/

New Jersey? not sure what the highlights would be other than the shoreline towns.

I have to agree with the previous poster. There is plenty to do for 8 days in the Southcentral/Southeastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, DC areas. If you could provide some information on the types of things you like to do or are interested in, I can narrow down some ideas for you. Washington, DC has so much to offer and many of the museums are free - definitely worth the visit. If you post on the Wash, DC forum for specific information, I'm sure you will get a lot of suggestions.
