Christmas Parade

I understand there is a parade on Dec 1 in town to kick off Christmas. Can anyone tell me where this parade goes, when it starts, and maybe if its worth checking out?

I believe this is what you're looking for ...

I don't have any experience with the parade itself but the details on time and route are contained at the link.

It's a small town parade, much smaller than the Halloween parade. If you have small children, they would enjoy it more so than adults. If you get a window seat at the Blue and Gray bar and grill, you can see it from inside.

Santa of course is the highlight and set's up shop on the town square. The square is decorated and features a large (artificial) christmas tree as the centerpiece. It's a great time to enjoy the downtown shops and restaurants. Make sure to grab a coupon book that they publish especially for the holidays, available at the local merchants shops.
