Did you bring your DeeT? Ticks Ticks Ticks

Hey folks! Adams County PA is a bad area for ticks and Lyme Disease. Be sure to spray!!! If its too hot to wear long sleeves, and pant def wear hats. You can buy civil war bonnets downtown if you want to blend in. I am thinking of spraying people walking by my house for $1 each.

I find the ticks in GB drink deep woods OFF for breakfast. That stuff never kept the ticks off me. I get this stuff from REI called Jungle Juice and the ticks stay away.

Never heard of REI. Its a store? Gettysburg is kind of in the sticks so we don't have fancy stores here.

REI is an outdoor recreation store. They have a website where you can order almost anything.

You may also probably get it in Harrisburg, at the Bass Pro Shop outdoor superstore? Or a Cabelas ?

The only time I plan on being out of the car is to walk to and from the parking lot to the visitor's center, and maybe while we're doing the audio cd car tour, we might take the detour to let the boys play for a few minutes at Devil's Den. Do you think we need to worry about ticks in this situation?

Probably not. But still do a look over at the end of the day. I've seen ticks on cement paths and even walking on the floor of the portable toilets.
